The Major General however
begs leave to suggest that care shall be taken in completing the proposed alteration
the of Queen's Road, that the Boundary of the Military property remain
distimetly marked; and that it should be fully understood, the present Parade Ground is
heretofore entirely at the disposal of the Military
recasion of it's being

every required by them-

The Respective Officers of biduance to whom the Major General thought it expedient stated & your letter, having stated that they had no suggestions to offer under the circumstances of their having already referred the question
of the claim they make to that part of the Ground North of the Queen's Road, to the Board Orduance; the Major General! is very desirous that any right, they conceive the Ordnance Department to possess, shall in
no
way
be
compromised by his conceding to the Public, the use of the present Parade Ground when not required for Military purposes._
